Community-informed strategy

Learning from those closest to the issues.

Input from a series of community listening sessions, key informant interviews and focus groups informed the Foundation’s focus moving forward – equity in aging.

Hundreds of participants from across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island shared insights in this process. Thank you to everyone who participated and to Health Resources in Action for collaborating on this important work.

By using an equity in aging lens, the Foundation will address root causes of health disparities and advocate to eliminate systemic barriers for older adults, especially those who have experienced systemic racism and historical disinvestment.
