Canton, MA — Point32Health Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Point32Health and its family of companies, including Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Tufts Health Plan and Care Partners of Connecticut, today announced nine nonprofit organizations in the region will receive a total of $45,000 in grants to address inequities, foster diverse leadership, support veterans and eliminate disparities.
Leaders of Point32Health’s nine Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) worked with the Foundation to identify and recommend community nonprofits aligned with the CRGs’ affinities; each received a $5,000 grant.
“Our commitment to our community of care goes far beyond the workplace—it reaches into the neighborhoods where we live and serve,” said Pete Church, Chief People & Culture Officer at Point32Health. “By investing in these nonprofits, we not only empower our leaders to make a tangible difference, but we also strengthen the deep connections between our colleagues and the communities they care about, fostering lasting change.”
“By centering community through this collaborative grantmaking approach the Foundation supports nonprofits that advocate for and advance what our colleagues care about,” said Caitlin Sullivan, the Point32Health Foundation senior community investor and leader of the CRG collaboration. “By supporting this program, we help cultivate communities that thrive where everyone experiences equitable health outcomes and affirms our Foundation’s purpose.”
